SWLYFC is a 501(c3) nonprofit organization, SWLYFC organize, conduct and oversee a football and cheerleading program for youth ( grades 1-6) in Southwest Licking County and surrounding areas. The mission of the SWLYFC is to foster personal and athletic success through the strengthening of the following characteristics: self-motivation, self-confidence, cooperation,responsibility, and sportsmanship. SWLYFC strives to provide a positive environment to teach such skills while simultaneously promoting a strong sense of community. SWLYFC is operating on a volunteer basis only with 9 board members, 7 of which are executive. Through our flag football season we have had 112 girls and boys play this season. Tackle football and cheer welcomes more than 500 youth per year.
