Span, Inc. serves the Denton County community by providing nutritional and transportation services to seniors, veterans and people with disabilities. Last year we served over 2000 individuals and helped them access important healthcare and community services through our specialized transportation program and provided meals to homebound seniors along with a daily check-in by a caring volunteer. Throughout the pandemic we never stoppped serving the community, and in fact added another 300 seniors to our Meals on Wheels program to accomodate the seniors who did not want to venture out. Our overarching goal is to eradicate senior hunger and eliminate transportation gaps in Denton County.
