Established in 1974, Span enables people to live as fully and independently as possible by providing nutrition, transportation, and social services to older persons, persons with disabilities, veterans, and the general public. Meals on Wheels of Denton County delivers healthy meals to homebound seniors. We serve congregate meals to seniors at 13 different senior centers and senior housing complexes. Congregate meals allow seniors to socialize and minimize senior isolation. Senior Paws deliverers pet food to homebound seniors. Dedicated volunteers deliver hot noon meals Monday through Friday throughout Denton County.
