The Spanish Education Fund (SEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises money to support the International Teaching Intern Program at Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion School (K-5), Central Middle School (6-8), and Eden Prairie High School (9-12) in Eden Prairie, MN. We are independent and separate from our school's PTO organization and we receive no funds or support from Eden Prairie Schools.
Focused on supporting our school's teachers, staff, and students, the SEF organization aims to fund 12-17 interns from Spanish speaking countries around the world to assist in classrooms. This provides a unique educational resource that has been proven extremely valuable to language acquisition for our students via exposure to other cultures.
Our upcoming annual fundraiser, Cinco De Mayo Fiesta, is a gathering of parents, teachers, administration, and our Spanish speaking interns. We are seeking in-kind donations for our silent and live auctions to be held on May 5, 2023. 100% of any proceeds from these auctions will go directly to the SEF. The Fiesta and its donors will be promoted through our Social Media channels and an emailed newsletter will reach approximately 1500 addresses . We expect an audience of about 150 adults who will be exposed to your business information via signage for our silent and live auctions.
