As the primary fundraising organization for the Larkspur-Corte Madera School District, SPARK helps to ensure our students receive an exceptional education by supporting an impressive variety and depth of programs. Run mostly by parent volunteers, SPARK raises money for programs that are not funded by state and local resources. SPARK supports teacher salaries and benefits plus supplies and materials for Music, Art, Science/Technology Engineering/Robotics and Wellness/Counseling at our three schools: The Cove, Neil Cummins and Hall Middle School.
The Foundation does this by raising $1.5M annually – nearly 6% of the District’s operating budget primarily through donations to Annual Giving, fundraising events and community business partnership program.
