At the SPCA East Texas, we work tirelessly to improve the lives of animals, alleviate their suffering, and elevate their status in society. With support from organizations like yours, our new campus can continue to be the hub for animal welfare in East Texas by providing affordable spay/neuter/vaccination services to the public, reducing the stray population, and rescuing homeless and abandoned animals.
With incredible community support, the SPCA of East Texas was able to achieve the following in 2023:
Dogs: 193 Dogs Were Adopted
Cats: 171 Cats Were Adopted
Transport: 314 Dogs & Cats
Neuter/Spay: 5,072 Dogs & Cats
Provide Wellness to: 9,414 Dogs & Cats
But the abandoned, sick, and tortured animals continue to pour into the SPCA of East Texas. While you can’t put a price on rescuing animals in need, there is, however, a price on the day-to-day operations of our programs. With the grand opening of our new 16,000-square-foot facility in October, our next big challenge is to raise money for an increase in services and spay/neuters, and to house more animals.
