The SPCA of Texas' mission is to provide every animal with exceptional care and a loving home. The SPCA of Texas provides programs and services at 2 public shelters, 1 animal rescue center, 1 veterinary clinic, 2 mobile clinic vehicles, 1 mobile adoption vehicle.
The SPCA of Texas' areas of focus include:
- Preventing and proscecuting cruelty: We prevent and prosecute animal cruelty by providing education to pet owners, supporting law enforcement agencies, and responding to natural disasters.
- Care for rescued pets: We provide the highest level of care for rescued animals, with a focus on positive outcomes, especially for vulnerable animals needing medical and behavioral rehabilitation.
- Keeping animals in homes: We help keep pet families together through our own distribution of pet food and supplies, housing supports, and veterinary needs, while also collaborating with strategic community partners to support pet families through additional programs.
