START is a not-for-profit organization that provides services to adults with intellectual disabilities. The agency was founded in 1968, beginning its operations in a church basement. Today, the agency has an array of vocational programs, operates Community Day services programs, Home Based Support Services Facilitation, Group Respite, Fast Track, 24 hour and intermittent residential Community Integrated Living Arrangements, and serves approximately 140 individuals with intellectual disabilities annually.
START's mission is to provide a better quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
