We focus on educating the public about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people and the issues that affect their lives in rural areas like ours; providing a voice for the LGBTQ+ community to help foster an environment where opportunities are not restricted simply because of one's gender expression or sexual orientation; and welcoming everyone to join us in cultivating a community of compassion that celebrates all people. Spencer Pride’s mission is not limited by our Owen County location but reflects our larger goal of making Indiana a more welcoming place for ALL people.
