The Spring Woods High School students are hoping your business would consider supporting their theatre company, The Safari Players, and become a member of our theatre community. As you may know, funding for the Fine Arts in most school districts is very limited. We are dependent on our families, friends, alumni, and community members to help fill in the financial gap. SWHS Theatre has an excellent reputation for producing amazing, talent-filled and state recognized performances throughout the years.
Each year the students also participate in a chance to compete nationally with their UIL one-act play. Another exciting addition to the theatre department is our ComedySportz Team. These kids compete with other schools in comical, improv battles of wit. Check out www.comedysportz.com for more information on this comedic showcase.
Along with producing high energy, award winning plays, our kids can also be seen around the community. They are actively involved in their Thespian Society – Troupe 127. They can be seen volunteering at community festivals and helping out with other high school organizations. Our Safari players are one of a kind and we hope your business will help keep theatre alive as an activity for them to display their talents.
