Springfield Senators Boosters supports ALL Springfield High School clubs, sports teams, art groups, and extracurricular activities. SHS has about 1500 students enrolled so a vast majority of students are served so long as they participate in any sport or activity. Boosters gives each team, club, and group a base amount of funding for the year and then also approves grants for extra items such as equipment, supplies, special travel expenses like to State tournaments, etc. All profits from fundraisers go into the general account for this purpose. Targeted gifts to a sports team, club, or group can also be given to Boosters which funnels it to them.
