St. Anne's Church started in 1905 and has served the community since, including many poor and working class families.
The parish has many programs to serve those in need, including a youth program, food program, citizenship test preparation, ESL classes, counselling, and many more. Its clients come from throughout the area, including Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Culver City, Inglewood, Hawthorne, and Lawndale. It also has government, business, and individual to maximize efforts.
The youth program focuses on "at risk" youth. This has seen some tremendous successes, including seeing students bevcome the first college graduates in their families.
