St. Clare School is a Kindergarten through Eighth grade Catholic School in the SW Portland area. Our parish includes over 1,000 families and our school serves 225 students, with an average class size of 27. In addition, St. Clare Preschool offers an infant through Pre-K program. At St. Clare School, we provide our students an excellent education with a foundation of faith, promoting growth and a focus on service to others. Our mission is dedicated to the spiritual and educational development of the whole child.
St. Clare School is a 501(c)3 educational institution that accepts all children regardless of background, color, or religious affiliation. Through the support of the St. Clare School and the Archdiocese of Portland, thousands of dollars in scholarships are made available to students every year, again without respect to their religious affiliation. Of primary importance to our organization is that we contribute to the development of a strong community and well-rounded children.
