The St. Louis Area Law Enforcement Exploring Association is comprised of more than a dozen police explorer posts from the metro area. This non-profit organization provides training opportunities, resources, and networking for the police explorers. Dedicated police officers and advisors devote their time, knowledge, and passion to inspire the police explorers on a rewarding journey to becoming favorable candidates entering the law enforcement career field.
Our organization is funded solely by our community partners. We rely on fundraising efforts to keep our mission moving forward. Our main goal is hosting a successful police explorer academy annually which is a week long training cirriculum that mimics the actual police academy. Police Explorers are youth aged 14-21 years old. Our secondary goals are to provide support to our local police department exploring posts.
