The church activity building provided space for physical education classes and a student lunchroom. The staff in 1982 consisted of the principal, Secretary, and six teachers. Presently, seventy-five staff members and 550 students in grade PK3-8th occupy the school campus consisting of three buildings totaling 84,000 square feet on a 14.7 acre site

The mission of the school is to educate each student in the spirit of faith, gospel values, and academic excellence according to Roman Catholic principles. To fulfill the mission St. Mark has a rigorous curriculum with challenging and expansive programs of learning. Many programs and approaches are incorporated into daily teaching including differentiated instruction, a method to tailor instruction to the individual needs of each student.
