St. Mark's Church is Biblical, Catholic, Anglican, and Local

WE ARE BIBLICAL

As traditional Anglican Christians "we believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the Word of God written and to contain all things necessary for salvation.  The Bible is to be translated, read, preached, taught and obeyed in its plain and canonical sense, respectful of the church's historic and consensual reading."

WE ARE CATHOLIC

We participate in the Great Tradition of historic Christianity.  This means we are part of something bigger than we are: the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, "built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Chist Jesus himself being the cornerstone."

WE ARE ANGLICAN

You could say we speak the Christian faith with an English accent.  This is because we worship "by the book," the Book of Common Prayer.  It's a book with ancient roots and is essentially the Bible set to prayer.

WE ARE LOCAL

From all over the city, we are a diverse community of friends and neighbors from many nations and cultures unified by our shared devotion to Jesus Christ.  Our worship of Jesus is traditional, liturgical, and three-dimensional (no simulcasts or screens).  Our fellowship is engaging and sincere.
