School Grades: Elementary School Middle School
St. Mary School has been educating children in Gilroy since 1871. It has a student population of roughly 300 students from grades K-8. Because the school is a private school, they do not receive public fiunds for the school's programs. The spaghetti dinner has been held for the past 64 years to support the athleitcs program at the school. It is a bi-annual event and attracts over 1,000 people from the South Bay to each event. The St. Mary Men's Club organizes the event and all proceeds go back into the event and the school's sports program.
