St. Patrick Catholic School is a faith-based environment that offers a rigorous academic curriculum focused on the students' present and future success. St. Patrick School in Springfield serves over 60 families who live in Springfield’s east side, a predominantly low-income, Black and Brown community. All our students and their families qualify for low-income services, and 98 percent of our families are minority populations.
St. Patrick School provides education to our families’ students with no tuition charge and relies solely on donations from the Springfield area to support this community. In addition to providing education, St. Patrick’s serves as a keystone in the community, providing free meals, community services like job fairs and health fairs, and a robust after-school program partnering with the Boys and Girls Club, all of which are open to all families in the East Side community, not just to our students.
We are always looking for creative ways to provide more services to our families and the East Side Community. Grants are needed to help support these community programs so that St. Patrick’s can continue serving all needs of this vulnerable community.
