Saint Rose of Lima parish in Northborough, Massachusetts is a faith-filled community that serves not only the town of Northborough, but the greater Worcester community and beyond. As a stewardship parish, our goal is to share our time, talents and treasure to support our communities by:

  • Tithing 10% of our weekly collection and donating it to other nonprofit organizations and individuals in need
  • Maintaining a community garden that provides over 2,000 pounds of fresh vegetables to local food pantries and senior centers each year
  • Funding our Youth Service League which regularly volunteers in the community and during week-long mission trips in the summer
  • Organizing outreach ministries including a meals ministry that provides meals to those recovering at home, visiting ministry that spends time with the homebound, women's club that provide meals and birthday parties for women and children in Worcester who are at risk of homelessness and more
  • Providing educational materials for new parents prior to Baptism, resources on social injustice concerns and spiritual resources for parishioners
  • Operating a Thrift Shop, which provides clothes and other household items to hundreds of low-income families
  • Participating in various drives, such as Thanksgiving food drives, gift drives during the Christmas season and more

We also host weekly Masses and many additional fellowship activities throughout the year that serve over 1400 families. Our parish community is unique in that it not only services the emotional and spiritual needs of our parishioners, but extends beyond our four walls to also support the emotional and physical needs of those in our communities by helping to shelter the homeless, feed the poor and clothe those in need.
