The Stadium Theatre Foundation’s mission is to enrich the region with culture through programming that creates an inclusive environment for the community to participate in the arts as students, artists, volunteers and patrons.

The Stadium Theatre and Conservatory offers affordable entertainment and education programs, hosting over 180 of events each year. Twelve full scale musical theatre productions and four to five smaller plays are produced in house. Additional events include international artists such as Leann Rimes and The Charlie Daniels Band to local original musicians, tribute bands, acrobats, comedy and symphonies. Education programs include after school, school vacation and school-time performances.

In a time when the arts are being cut from school budgets, there is a tremendous response to the Stadium Theatre’s educational programs.  Due to the affordable costs of the Stadium’s programs, the courses are perennially filled to capacity. By demand, courses continue to be added and expand in genre. This past season, the lineup has grown to include specialty classes such as stage tech, stage makeup, dance classes, stage design, set building and Theatre Tikes.

The Stadium’s school-time performances consist of a variety of live performances and interactive shows presented during school hours. This program is open to all school children in grades K-12. Since the program’s inception 12 years ago, the price has remained at just $10 per ticket, with a free chaperone ticket for every ten students.  This year, eight shows will be offered through this program with expected attendance of over 9,000.
