The proposed plan of work has been developed to address youth social barriers, coping and development efforts, not limited to, bullying, violence, and suicide of youth and their families through youth development and support. As such, S.O. proposes to carry out the following objectives through its Power of Music campaign:

1. Provide information to students on Social Emotional Learning that will be useful in stimulating positive coping practices and the use of music influenced coping skills.

3. Conflict Resolution Strategies exploring conflict in person, virtually, and within social media networks that will result in: a) how conflicts affect people differently and how to resolve them; b) conduct an assessment of the various conflicts at school; and c) if feasible, develop plans for a school wide implementation project.

4. Assist students with Life Development Skills, conduct student assessment that assist with developing goals and developing plans for future implementation.

5. Provide additional comprehensive information and training to students through literature, workshops/seminars, etc.

Additional increased efforts will be directed toward students that exhibit an active issue with bullying or emotional distress. The Standup Org. (S.O.) plays a major role in the youth development arena. S.O. will support the Reset Program to enhance the existing offerings being provided. Our detailed description of the services has been outlined in the work plan and can be adjusted to include Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (T.E.K.S) curriculums where needed we are confident the alignment is there.
