Standpoint’s mission is to promote justice for domestic and sexual violence victims. We are the only statewide agency in Minnesota that provides free legal advice and advocacy to domestic and sexual violence victims, as well as to advocates, attorneys, and other professionals who support them. 

Standpoint's toll-free, state-wide Action Line provides on-the-spot legal advice and consultation. There is no intake process or income guidelines, so we have removed barriers to access.

Over the past two years, we've experienced 123% more calls—a record high.
Standpoint's team of experienced attorneys and legal advocates are working diligently,
but are stretched thin to meet this increased demand!

Standpoint is a pathway to justice—for 25 years we have been empowering survivors with legal knowledge. Our passion is rooted in the belief that everyone has the right to justice, protection of the legal system, and to live a life free of violence, oppression, and discrimination.
