OUR MISSION - We build inclusive communities, inspire careers, and help make connections that help establish a successful and happy adult life for young adults with special needs.
StarThrower Group helps young adults with special needs have access to integrated adult lives in the community. We have created a community center that provides a central location for members to gather and gives them access to businesses, shops, restaurants and everything an independent adult needs in their community. We are not a day program - through our member-focused approach, we develop workshops that build social, life, and career skills. Our members come to a safe and welcoming learning environment that encourages experiential learning, continuing education, transitional assistance, and service to the community.
Since its founding in 2018, StarThrower Group has grown from serving 3 members to a current count of 55 and still growing! We service over 5 counties, including Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Warren and Mercer. The demand for our services is a result of the quality of the staff and programs.
