I am a mother of three that resides in Yuba City California. I am reaching out to ask for your help. My husband works for Hoblit Motors in Colusa at their Ford dealership. This year, on September 17th, they are hosting a corn hole fundraiser to help raise money for children with cancer. This year it hits extra close to home. We lost our oldest, Colin, in January to Stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma. He was six days shy of his fifth birthday. I have volunteered with helping acquire donations for the silent auction and raffle. The money raised will be shared between two non-profit organizations, Courageous Hearts and Stay Happy Fundation. Both of these Sacramento based foundations work to bring joy to children fighting cancer by sending them care packages all over the country. They are both special to us, as they both sent packages to Colin during his battle with cancer that were able to bring a smile to his face. As a cancer mom, I know just how important it is to find those moments of joy. That is the main reason I am really wanting to help make this fundraiser as successful as possible.
