Dear Steekee Elementary School Supporter:
First, we want to thank you for the support you have shown us over the past many years. The COVID-19 Pandemic greatly affected our school operations this year, and I am certain it affected your business and life. We are looking forward to the 2021-2022 School Year being more like a ‘normal’ year, and are especially looking forward to hosting our annual Fall Carnival once again.
We will be hosting our annual Fall Carnival on Friday, September 24, 2021. Proceeds from the carnival help us provide supplemental supplies, equipment, and opportunities for our students. We are asking area businesses to partner with our school and community by generously donating to help us provide these important resources so our classrooms remain well equipped to prepare our students for their future.
Carnival proceeds have been used in previous years to replace classroom furniture, maintain and upgrade technology, update our gym, and renovate our playground. Carnival funds are also used to support our STEAM and Fine Arts projects. This year, carnival funds will be used to support the following projects:
· Classroom support – The first priority for carnival funds will be to put money directly into classrooms for supplemental instructional supplies for students during the 2021-2022 school year.
· Updates for maintenance of and enhancements to existing library and classroom furniture, equipment
· Grade level appropriate playground toys
· Student recognition and incentives
All donations will support academic and extracurricular programs for the benefit of students currently enrolled at Steekee Elementary School.
