STEM MINDSET 4 KIDS' mission is to inspire lifelong learning in children, advance their knowledge about science, technology, engineering, math and art topics. We strive to strengthen our communities by connecting families and providing a safe place to share ideas.
We are participating in the Lego League's STEM Robotic programs and competition. We have teams of students, ages 6-12 years old, that are participating from Nassau county. Our team meets weekly to research this season's theme. We are excited to start our second season together with an aim to be even more competitive than our first season. Last season, our team advanced to the Long Island Championship round. Our robot game scored within the top 10 of all Long Island teams. For our Innovation Project, we created a model that would use kinetic energy around our schools, to reduce energy cost.
