Stepping Stone Emergency Housing is a 66 bed residential homeless shelter located in Anoka, MN. Applicants apply to our shelter and become actual residents of the shelter for an initial 90 day period. Immediately they have all their basic needs provided so they can feel safe and secure. In addition to shelter, we provide three meals each day and a clothing closet to ensure they have an adequate wardrobe. Residents are also assigned a Case Manager who works with each individual resident to identify their unique barriers to having stable housing. The Case Manager then helps the resident overcome their barriers by making connections to the proper resources within the community.
Our wait list was at an all time high of 450 people just prior to the pandemic. While we shelter only 66 people at a time, we serve as many as 517 during a given year.

Support individuals 18 and over who are experiencing homelessness by accelerating the growth of available shelter that brings education and solutions to our homeless response.
