Founded in 1959, Stilwell Elementary is home to over 250 children and their families in the South Johnson County Area.
The Stilwell PTO has a strong history of providing funds to support learning and activities for all students and sponsoring various Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) programs throughout the year.
The PTO helps support our families by paying for all student field trips, supplying technology and teaching aids to the classrooms, and providing many different activities and events throughout the year. The PTO also provides our principal the ability to assist families in need so their children can have the same positive school experiences as their peers. Furthermore, we support our teachers through our teacher grant program, which aids in acquiring teaching resources that the district budget simply can not provide.
We look forward to continuing to provide the above for our families as well as looking forward to what innovative ideas we can come up with the help enrich our students' learning experience at Stilwell.
