The Purpose of PTA is to:
Promote the welfare of the children in home, school and community.
Secure adequate laws for the care and protection of our children.
Establish a closer relationship between the home and school so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of the children.
Develop united efforts between educators and the general public to secure all children the highest advantage in physical, mental and social education.
Parent Involvement links the school and the home together. Any volunteer time you give will directly benefit your child by carrying forth PTA Objectives, which are:
Make all children feel important, special, capable, and part of the community.
Increase parent participation.
Assist and support the school staff by working in cooperation with them to bring together home and school.
Plan programs and activities to meet the needs of our children and the community.
To raise funds that are necessary for the PTA’s year planned activities as well as items in the school to enrich the students' day, such as new playground equipment, a garden to grown some basic vegetables, picnic tables for outdoor eating, an electronic school sign.
