Executive Summary
Story of Hope is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2015, whose purpose is to provide care to individuals, free of charge, who are terminally ill, in a home-like setting.The home will have up to two people at one time. All residents will be admitted to a Licensed and Certified Home Care Agency who will oversee the medical care of each resident.
Mission
Our Mission is to provide peaceful and loving care to the terminally ill and their families during the last three months through the dying process. We offer experienced nurses and trained volunteers for physical, emotional, and spiritual support.
I am a hospice nurse who lives in Chili, NY. A group of individuals and I are working to open a new home for the dying in this area. It is being constructed at his time. We are hoping for an opening spring 2022. It is completely community supported. We will not obtain money from the government or any other resources.
So far the home is constructed and with much help from community we will open spring 2022.
