Suburban Nursery School’s Auction, organized on a volunteer basis by the school’s parents, is one of the school’s largest fundraisers. The proceeds from the event will be used to supplement the capital and education programs at the school. Last year we had over 40 donated items, earning the school more than $3,000 and this year we hope to surpass that amount! SNS offers competitive tuition rates so that some families and children are not priced out of this type of school and opportunity. But as a small school, and a non-profit, we raise most of our money, outside of tuition, through fundraisers. The school fosters the creativity and imagination present in every child, allowing them to explore and discover, play and learn in their own unique way. SNS is also a special place for parents of our children, as at least one parent “co-ops” in each classroom every day, helping the teacher and providing a front-row seat to their child’s development.
