The Sunnyside PTA supports critical academic needs, is an active voice on decisions that impact Sunnyside Elementary School children's health, safety and quality of education, and builds a stronger, more inclusive school community.
Our goals are: to coollaborate with Sunnyside teachers and staff to make a positive impact on all Sunnyside students; to raise funds in an effective and efficient way to help support a variety of activities at Sunnyside, including grade-level field trips, classroom enrichment, staff grants, Artist in Residence program, Musical, Science Fair, Field Day and more; to host fun events that bring together Sunnyside families, teachers, staff, and the community, like the annual carnival and bingo night; and to provide opportunities for families to learn about topics of interest related to children and education.
