I am trying to reach out to you in reference to the Sunshine State Towing Association and our Annual Charity Gala. Every year in conjunction with the Florida Tow Show, the Sunshine State Towing Association has its Annual Gala Fundraiser. Our event occurs on the Thursday before the tow show. This year our event is on April 16th, 2020.
I am reaching out trying to obtain an In-Kind Product Donation to use in our Auction. We are a 501(c)3 registered charitable organization. I was hoping that you would be willing to donate to our cause.
Approximately 1 Wrecker Operator is injured or even killed every 6 days while working an incident on the highways. Our mission is to successfully advocate and provide effective support to first responders whom risk their lives while performing emergency road services for the motoring public at large. The Sunshine State Towing Association provides representation and education to those in the Florida towing industry in the hopes to radically improve the safety of towing and the preparedness of the industry at large. Our organization directly serves the Towing Industry in Florida, but with the education and safety training our Wrecker Operators receive, we ultimately touch the lives of every person who operates a vehicle on the Florida Roadways. When one accident is cleared from travel lanes in a safe manner that negates the opportunity for secondary incidents. It is our goal to impact lives of every motorist. Your product will be presented to attendees from all aspects of the Towing and Trucking Trade from employee to owners of major towing and recovery companies.
The item will be auctioned off at a Dinner and Silent Auction Fundraiser on Thursday April 16, 2020 for the SSTA (Sunshine State Towing Association). Funds received from the Auction will be used to help fund safety and education programs for Towing and Trucking professionals. Your donated item would be greatly appreciated by these unsung heroes that spend countless hours away from their families on our roadways risking their lives to provide safety, security, and support to the motoring public
