Surgical Outreach for the Americas (SOfA) is a nonprofit organization that provides surgical services for the under served in the developing countries of Central and South America. Our experienced surgeons, nurses and medical professionals team up with local doctors, nurses and medical staff to provide basic surgeries that can mean the difference between challenging circumstances and meaningful employment and social acceptance. SOfA has been in existence for 15 years and throughout these years has expanded it's service base and provided over 2000 surgeries for people in need.
