The Sussex County Technical School's PTA's goal is to help the students and the school raise funds for such things as project graduation, proms, graduation ceremonies, and most important scholarships. The PTA is also now raising funds to support Sussex Tech's specialized programs such as their carpentry, welding, HVAC, electrical, culinary arts, law and public safety, transportation technology, robotics, engineering, and theater arts. Several of the school's programs are extremely low or completely depleted of funds to purchase the necessary materials for the students to complete their programs. In addition, Sussex Tech is at risk of having to close three specialized shops to lack of funding. The PTA is hoping to turn some of this around by raising funds to assist both the school and the students in an effort to create the best possible high school experience for our children.
The PTA raises funds by hosting various fundraisers such as tricky tray events, clothing drives, chocoloate sales, etc.
