Swoboda Deaf Center (SDC) fosters the education, social, and service needs of the Deaf community in the Chicago area through meetings such as Deaf Women United hosting their own meetings, deaf education such as ASL classes (2023), workshops such as fit and food goals, fundraisings such as Chicagoland Deaf Expo, social gatherings, and other related activities. SDC is the only event space in the Chicagoland area for the Deaf community.
Swoboda Deaf Center is a 501(c)3 charitable organization under the Chicago Area Catholic Deaf Center Foundation (CACDCF) dedicated to providing a space for meetings and events for the deaf, hard-of-hearing, and children of deaf adults (CODA).
