BUILD is a nonprofit organization that was started in 2013 that was started in reverence of the 1999 Aggie Bonfire tradition and the students who tragically lost their lives. Our founders started this organization to unify A&M just like our bonfire tradition once did. Other than they wanted to serve Texas A&M, our community, our nation, and the world as a whole. During the spring semester and over the summer we plan for our fall construction cycle. We do this by finalizing our NGOs, reaching out to donors, finishing up our designs, and planning for our events such as our silent auction and domestic trip. In the fall we turn our shipping containers into portable medical clinics. Some of our tasks during this time include framing, painting, flooring, and wall mounting.
After the completion of our clinics, they are then transported to Medical Bridges in Houston, Texas whom supply our clinics with medical supplies and equipment. Finally, our clinics are then sent shipped to communities in need, and over the years through the help of our partners and donors we try to help maintain these clinics so that they can continue impacting lives. As of today, we have bult 42 Texas Aggie Medical Clinics.
