TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, was
founded in 2008 in Dallas following a cancer diagnosis of four-year old
Connor Cruse. TeamConnor’s vision is to find a cure for childhood cancers so that every child can grow up, spread their wings and fly. Until that day comes, TeamConnor will utilize all of its resources to raise awareness, support families and fund treatments to help find cures. To date, TeamConnor has donated over $5 million to institutions across the United States committed to cutting edge pediatric cancer research. Childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under
the age of 15 in the United States. Approximately 1,800 kids die each year
in this country. Each year in the U.S., an estimated 15,780 children aged 0-19 are diagnosed with cancer. That is a staggering 43 kids (families) per day being told they
have cancer. Less than 4% of the federal government’s budget for cancer research
is dedicated to childhood cancers. With your help, we hope to end children having stories similar to Connor's.
