The Tega Cay Lions Foundation is a humanitarian services organization in the areas of vision, diabetes and hunger.  We are raising funds at present for our vision programs which include vision screening in local schools using our Welsh Allyn SPOT vision screening device.  Last year alone we screened over 12,000 children of which 10% were referred for further evaluation.  We provide eyeglasses and surgery for low income families.  We send blind children to a special summer camp so they may experience what sighted children do.  We work to provide service dogs to people which gives them independence and improves their quaility of life.
