Temple Beth Sholom is dedicated to the pursuit of Lifelong Jewish Learning. Built on principles of Torah, we strive to inspire learners at every age to live a vibrant Jewish life in the home, within the congregation, and in the greater Jewish community.  In 1951, thirty families began creating Temple Beth Sholom with a simple dream—the establishment of a Conservative Center for Jewish life in the Roslyn Area. Seven decades later their vision has come to fruition as TBS is not only a leader of the Conservative movement in the New York area, but nationally recognized as well. We are very proud of our history. It is the foundation of our future.

 

Today, we benefit over 700 families daily. We have a vibrant Preschool with over 75 children, a Religious Hebrew School with over 150 children and a camp with over 300 children as well as serve teens throughout the community. We help people of all ages in our community.
