Tenaciously Teal is a nonprofit dedicated to providing love, community, and empowerment to cancer fighters and their families. The organization provides care packs that are mailed nationwide, financial assistance for cancer fighters in need, and hosts Brave Shave and Empowerment Shoots for women facing treatment related side effects. To date T. Teal has distributed more than 35,000 cancer care packs, and averaged 500 care packs distributed each month in 2022.
Meal & Gas Cards
Tenaciously Teal disburses gas & meal cards to cancer fighters who need help covering the increased cost associated with treatment. Many referrals made by hospital social workers are for patients who can’t afford gas to come to treatment or don’t have enough resources to purchase groceries.
T. Teal Board Fund:
Created to support cancer fighters with quality of life items and services they do not qualify for through other assistance programs.
Grants include:
Chemotherapy copays
Hospital bed rental
Appliance repair
Bed Bug treatment
Rent & utility assistance
Christmas sponsorships
