Tennessee Kidney Foundation's mission is to empower and support those at risk or affected by kidney disease. TKF's vision is a Tennessee where the rate of kidney disease is minimized and everyone who needs care receives care.
TKF’s target population includes individuals who are 1) very low income, 2) disabled and 3) older adults/seniors, all of whom have ESRD. This group includes individuals ages 60 and older, African Americans, Hispanic populations, and individuals suffering from comorbidities such as obesity, hypertension, and diabetes.
We serve our population via transportation assistance to and from dialysis appointments, emergency aid, and food assistance.
