Everyone knows someone who has been diagnosed with cancer and has had to watch helplessly while they have had to navigate through the fear, pain, and stress that cancer brings. Now you can help prvent this from continuing to happen daily.
The American Cancer Society holds a Relay for Life fundraiser yearly to raise funds for cancer research, provide 24/7 support for cancer patients, and help fund lifesaving preventative screenings. Bradley County is hosting their Relay for WANTED – CANCER WRANGLERS. Activities will include Western style foods and activities, entertainment, 3rd Annual Mayfield Ice Cream Sandwich Eating Contest, vendors, an auction, a survivor choir, and the all-important caregiver and survivor laps!
Through generous donations from individuals and companies such as yourself, Bradley County’s Relay for Life was able to raise over $140,000 last year and we hope to beat that amount this year. That is why I am writing to you today.
We are looking for donations to make this year’s Relay for Life better and more successful than ever. All donations are tax deductible. All businesses that donate items for auction will be acknowledged at the event.
