For 75 years The Arc Minnesota has been promoting and protecting the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), supporting their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lives.
We serve individuals with IDD and their families across Minnesota through a wide range of programs and services. These include:
Individual Advocacy to help people navigate education, housing, and disability services
The Arc Help Desk, which provides free, reliable information and guidance on disability-related questions and connects people to the resources they need
Self-Advocacy Training to empower individuals to speak up, lead, and create change
Housing and Financial Guidance to support informed decision-making and access to resources
Microgrants that fund small but life-changing goals like starting a business or moving into independent housing
Support for Inclusive Employment through resources and advocacy for competitive job opportunities
Our work is guided by the belief that people with disabilities have the right to make their own choices, pursue their goals, and live with dignity and belonging in their communities.
