The Mission of The Arc of Bergen and Passaic Counties is to provide enhanced opportunities for all citizens of Bergen and Passaic Counties with intellectual and other disabilities and their families through advocacy; community education; direct services; customized supports and to help these individuals attain and maintain fulfilled and independent status within their own communities and to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of disability whenever possible.  The Arc of Bergen and Passaic Counties believes that every person should have the opportunity to reach their full potential so that, given the right support and training, individuals with disabilities can live lives as full, productive and joyous as anyone might hope for.
