While our administrative office is in Tinley Park, The Arc of Illinois is a statewide advocacy and resource organization. We have staff spread out across the state to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and the professionals who support them. The Arc of Illinois advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, families and community organizations to ensure that people with disabilities can live, work, learn, and play in communities across the state. The Arc of Illinois truly believes that we are all people first and because of that, regardless of any developmental or intellectual differences, everyone deserves the same rights and opportunities.
The Arc offers resources and information, supports families in their individual advocacy efforts and trains and educates people with disabilities, families and professionals.
