For 70 remarkable years, The Arc of San Antonio has been serving our community by empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to live fuller, more independent lives. We're honored to serve over 2,300 individuals and their families across Bexar County and beyond each year.
The Arc’s Adult Life Enrichment program provides day habilitation activities for adults (ages 18 and up) with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in an environment conducive to growth and socialization. Participants are offered a variety of structured activities based on individual interests, skills, and abilities.
Each day, our team delivers six hours of thoughtfully designed programming intended to address the mental, emotional, physical, and social needs of the adults The Arc serves. Topics include functional life skills (cleaning the house, doing the dishes, etc.), enrichment activities (art, dance, and music) and health and wellness (fitness classes, nutrition workshops, and more).
