The mission of The Ark Domestic Violence Shelter, is to provide safe shelter and comprehensive resident and non-resident services through advocacy, referrals and education to support and empower victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault, one family at a time. The Ark is 501C-3 non profit organization that serves victims of domestic and sexual violence.
The Ark has a 24/7 crisis hotline and emergency shelter to assist survivors. We are one of the few shelters in Texas that has an onsite pet kennel for survivors to bring in their pets with them to shelter.
