The Big Raise is a nonprofit that fundraises and hosts events to raise money for other nonprofits. Not all charities have the staff and resources to allocate employees for fundraising, we fill this need. The question above asks how many beneficiaries have been served this year and this does not accurately reflect the impact of the Big Raise. We have partnered with two charities that with our help have been able to help many people.The number of people helped by the money we have raised for these nonprofit partners cannot be counted. We host amazing events for amazing causes. We allow charities to focus on their cause by taking care of all aspects of the fundraising. Our fall event benefits Hesed House, the second largest homeless shelter in Illinois. This event will have around 200 people present and last year raised more than $185,000 for Hesed House. This year we hope to raise even more money to help them end homelessness.
