The Boston Home is committed to providing exceptional clinical care, compassion, and innovative programs for adults with advanced multiple sclerosis and other progressive neurological disorders. Neurological disorders are unpredictable and affect the central nervous system, disrupting the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. All 96 of The Boston Home's residents require wheelchairs for ambulation, as tremors, spasticity and paralysis are significant effects of disorder progression.
Recognized by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as an exemplary care provider and designated as a “Center for the Promotion of Excellence in Long-term Care,” The Boston Home is committed to making life rich and full of meaningful options through programmatic offerings and services including its B. Fit! day program, Seating Clinic, state-of-the-art Wheelchair Enhancement Center, Rehabilitation Suite, and Adaptive Watercolor Program.
